Job Description

Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BE/BC Perinatal/Reproductive Psychiatrist to join a growing healthcare system in Greenville, North Carolina. This role includes providing both inpatient consults and outpatient care to perinatal patients with an emphasis on a balanced schedule of clinical duties, teaching, and scholarly activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide consults for the emergency department and behavioral health unit
  • Deliver outpatient care in behavioral health and obstetrics gynecology clinics
  • Participate in teaching and scholarly activities
  • Contribute to an expanding multi-disciplinary and collegial department
  • Maintain a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule
  • Handle phone-only call coverage for nights and weekends

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Completed residency in psychiatry or obstetrics/gynecology
  • Completed fellowship in reproductive or perinatal psychiatry
  • Strong consultation skills
  • Experience in behavioral health
  • Teaching experience
  • Clinical research background
