Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a full-time BE/BC Adult Psychiatrist to join an inpatient unit in Columbus, GA. The role involves working in a hospital-employed position on a 7 on/7 off schedule, providing care to a diverse range of adult and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients
  • Participate in a 7 on/7 off work schedule
  • Supervise residents through the Psychiatry GME program
  • Optional supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Work in a freestanding behavioral and mental health center
  • Contribute to both inpatient and outpatient services

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Interest or fellowship in Geriatrics, Addiction Medicine, TMS Therapy, or Women's Mental Health
  • Suboxone certification (welcome but not required)
