Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Full-Time Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician for a locum tenens position in Charlotte, NC. The role offers clinical autonomy and flexibility, with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities, while allowing physicians to focus on wound management in various healthcare settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Maintain clinical documentation in real-time using proprietary EMR systems
  • Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship
  • Deliver modern wound management in a mobile practice setting

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in patient care and wound management
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation and EMR systems
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 weekdays per week
