Overview

The Curare Group is offering an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist in Fort Wayne, Indiana, focused on patient care and work-life balance. The role involves working in a 120-bed inpatient facility that serves adult and geriatric populations, with options for Medical Directorship and flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient facility
  • Manage a patient load of 12-16 patients per day on average
  • Cover PHP/IOP and telemedicine consults as needed
  • Participate in after hour call coverage on a rotational or voluntary basis
  • Engage in weekend coverage on a rotational or voluntary basis
  • Receive NP support in daily operations

Required skills

  • Experience in psychiatry and patient care
  • Knowledge of inpatient care and geriatric care
  • Familiarity with telemedicine
  • Strong administrative support skills
