Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician in Dothan, Alabama. This role emphasizes clinical satisfaction and flexibility with no nights, calls, or weekend responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while delivering wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Provide bedside wound care using cutting-edge clinical technologies
  • Utilize proprietary wound specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation
  • Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week for part-time positions
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in wound management and physical medicine
  • Clinical documentation skills
  • Patient management expertise
