Job Description

Overview

B.E.L. & Associates, Inc. is seeking a General Anesthesiologist for a large hospital in the Pittsburgh area. This position requires an MD or DO, board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology, and ACLS certification, with a focus on supervising CRNAs in an inpatient setting performing general and cardiac surgeries.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 23 CRNAs in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Perform general and cardiac anesthesia procedures
  • Administer nerve blocks and a small number of labor epidurals
  • Respond to on-call duties with a schedule of 1:7
  • Work at a single hospital location

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • ACLS certification
  • Proficiency in nerve blocks
  • Ability to perform labor epidurals
