Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist to join an established practice in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role involves a wide range of ophthalmological services, including surgeries and treatments for various eye conditions within a supportive community atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct eye exams
  • Diagnose and monitor moderate-to-severe eye conditions
  • Perform cataract surgeries
  • Conduct minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries
  • Execute reconstructive surgeries for damage repair
  • Treat chronic or severe tear duct infections or blockages
  • Remove ocular neoplasms or lesions
  • Monitor or consult on related cases like diabetic retinopathy
  • Administer intravitreal injections for ocular diseases
  • Provide Botox injections around the eyes and face
  • Conduct dilated exams for retina assessments

Required skills

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Experience in cataract and glaucoma surgeries
  • Knowledge of ocular treatments
  • Patient monitoring and medical diagnosis skills
  • Surgical techniques related to eye care
