Overview

The role is for a Radiation Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Georgetown, Kentucky, specifically in an outpatient setting. The position involves delivering radiation oncology care during a provider's medical leave from June 29 to July 2, 2026, adhering to a Monday to Thursday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient radiation oncology care to patients
  • Collaborate with support staff, including RNs and office staff
  • Adhere to the specified schedule
  • Work onsite at Georgetown Community Hospital

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • Licensed in Kentucky
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience with EBRT techniques including Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS
  • Proficient in treatment planning including 3D CRT and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
  • Fellowship required
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Aria
