Overview

The role is for a Hematology & Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Brainerd, Minnesota. Responsibilities include outpatient clinical consultations with an expected patient volume of 12-15 and a shift schedule of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, requiring a minimum commitment of three weeks per month for at least six months.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct outpatient clinical consultations in hematology and oncology
  • Manage patient care primarily through consultations
  • Collaborate with support staff including RNs and medical assistants
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and the care team

Required skills

  • Active MN medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology
  • Experience in outpatient care
  • Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically Epic
