Overview

OnCall Solutions is looking for an OB/GYN physician for locum tenens call coverage at a community hospital in Northern California. This role offers the opportunity for full-scope OB/GYN practice with no clinic responsibilities, allowing coverage from home while meeting response requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
  • Cover OB and GYN emergency department cases
  • Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
  • Conduct gynecologic surgeries
  • Deliver full-scope OB/GYN care

Required skills

  • Active California medical license
  • DEA certification
  • OB/GYN residency training
  • Board Certification preferred
  • Board Eligible considered if credentialed without restrictions
  • Clean malpractice and background history preferred
  • High-volume obstetrics experience
  • Cesarean delivery experience
  • Gynecologic surgery experience
  • Emergency OB/GYN coverage experience
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
