Job Description

Overview

This full-time Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB/GYN) position in Coachella, California, offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive women's health services in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The physician will focus on patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on community health.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
  • Perform gynecologic evaluations and deliveries
  • Diagnose and treat routine and complex conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners and other advanced practice providers
  • Participate in quality improvement and regulatory initiatives
  • Support training for medical students and NP/PA trainees
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical protocols

Required skills

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • Current BLS or CPR certification
  • Strong clinical judgment
  • Experience in serving rural or underserved populations
  • Supervisory experience with Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
