Overview

Pediatrix is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist for per diem coverage at a Level III NICU in Summerville, South Carolina, near Charleston. The role involves providing 24-hour coverage and requires availability during specified blocks.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide per diem coverage at a Level III NICU
  • Participate in rounding and take night call from home/hotel
  • Manage an average daily census of 14 patients
  • Collaborate with a Neonatology and NNP team
  • Support high-acuity neonatal care in a clinical environment

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Neonatology
  • Recent experience in Neonatology
  • Active South Carolina medical license or active IMLC
  • Completion of prescreen questionnaire
  • Self-query NPDB within 30 days of submission
