Overview

ChenMed is seeking Center Medical Directors to join their primary care network in New Orleans, Louisiana. With over 35 years of experience and a focus on value-based care, ChenMed offers a unique model that allows physicians to provide high-touch, relationship-centered care to seniors on Medicare Advantage.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support the healthcare team in providing quality primary care
  • Manage a small patient panel size of 225 patients maximum
  • Participate in administrative duties with included administrative time in the schedule
  • Provide telephonic triage with no hospital rounding or call
  • Support the health and well-being of seniors through preventive care

Required skills

  • Board Certified Primary Care Provider
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience in healthcare and medical management
  • Knowledge of geriatrics and preventive care
  • Familiarity with telemedicine practices
