Job Description

Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a growing clinic in Des Moines, Iowa. The position involves working alongside a team of physicians and supporting staff, with a focus on advanced heart failure management and various cardiac procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage an average clinic volume of 13-17 patients per day
  • Participate in a call schedule of 1:4
  • Perform the recently approved Barostim procedure
  • Conduct implantable fluid monitoring and LVAD management
  • Read echocardiograms and nuclear medicine tests
  • Engage in shared outreach clinic opportunities one day per month

Required skills

  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology
  • Experience in heart failure management
  • Proficiency in echocardiography and nuclear medicine
  • LVAD management experience
  • Board Certification/Eligibility
