Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a growing clinic in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves working with a team of four physicians and one APP, providing care to an average of 13-17 patients per day while participating in various cardiac procedures and diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

  • Join a team of 4 Physicians and 1 APP
  • Manage average clinic volume of 13-17 patients per day
  • Participate in a call rotation of 1:4
  • Perform the recently approved Barostim procedure
  • Handle implantable fluid monitoring and LVAD management
  • Read echocardiograms and conduct nuclear medicine tests
  • Engage in shared outreach clinic opportunities 1 day/month

Required skills

  • BC/BE in Cardiology
  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure
  • Experience in echocardiography and nuclear medicine
  • Healthcare management and clinical research skills
  • Telemedicine capabilities
