Overview

VISTA Staffing Solutions is seeking a Board Certified physician in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience for a locum tenens opportunity in Rockport, Texas. The role involves working in a freestanding Emergency Department with a focus on high acuity cases and various emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care to high acuity patients
  • Manage trauma cases and perform procedures such as intubations and chest tube placements
  • Deliver care during OB deliveries and conduct dislocation reductions
  • Work 12-hour shifts, either from 6a-6p or 6p-6a
  • Provide single physician coverage

Required skills

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
  • Active Texas medical license
  • Experience in trauma and critical care
