Job Description

Overview

VISTA Staffing Solutions is seeking an Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience for a locum tenens opportunity in Texas. This role is in a freestanding Emergency Department and involves managing a variety of high acuity cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide single physician coverage during 12-hour shifts
  • Manage emergency cases including trauma, STEMI, strokes, and OB deliveries
  • Perform procedures such as intubations, central line placements, dislocation reductions, chest tube placements, and laceration repairs

Required skills

  • Board Certified ABEM, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
  • Active Texas medical license
