Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a neighborhood health center in Brockton, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will embrace the diversity of the patient population and practice within a Patient Centered Medical Home model, managing a capped patient panel while providing essential care to low-income and marginalized communities.

Key responsibilities

  • See 18-20 patients per day within a Patient Centered Medical Home model
  • Manage assigned patient panels capped at 1500 patients
  • Work Monday through Thursday from 8:15 AM to 8 PM, Friday from 8:15 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM
  • Participate in call coverage approximately 1 in 8 weeks, which is telephone coverage only
  • Provide care to a diverse patient population, including low-income groups

Required skills

  • Experience in primary care and patient-centered medical home models
  • Strong commitment to health promotion and disease prevention
  • Awareness of diversity in patient populations
