Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician for their Columbus, GA location. This role emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, calls, or weekend responsibilities. Physicians will focus on modern wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals, with extensive training provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Document clinical notes in real-time during clinical rounds using proprietary EMR systems
  • Minimum commitment of three weekdays per week for part-time or four to five for full-time positions
  • Participate in a wound care fellowship for enhanced expertise and training

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in wound management and patient care
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and EMR systems
  • Flexibility and ability to work autonomously
