Job Description

Overview

RecruitWell is seeking a board certified or eligible physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for an outpatient role in Hermitage, Tennessee. The position focuses on patient care within a supportive primary care group environment that prioritizes work-life balance and preventive care.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient care to a geriatric and Medicare Advantage patient base
  • Manage an average daily census of 12-15 patients
  • Work with a full staff including physicians, NPs, PAs, medical assistants, and care coaches
  • Utilize Athena EMR and DAX software for patient management
  • Maintain a focus on patient care rather than high patient volume or RVUs

Required skills

  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Experience in outpatient care
  • Bilingual communication in English and Spanish preferred
  • Background in geriatrics and patient care
  • Familiarity with healthcare management
