Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Infectious Disease Physician in Dothan, Alabama. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and a flexible schedule with no nights or weekend responsibilities. Physicians will provide bedside wound care across various facilities while receiving extensive training in wound management.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day to treat approximately 20-30 patients
  • Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in wound care and infectious disease
  • Medical documentation skills
  • Clinical training capabilities
  • Ability to manage patient visits at multiple facilities
  • Flexibility to work a minimum of 3 weekdays per week
