Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Hospitalist Physician in Lafayette, TN, specializing in wound management. This role offers clinical autonomy and flexibility, allowing physicians to achieve a work-life balance with no nights, calls, or weekend responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and wound care modalities
  • Engage in clinical documentation in real-time during rounds
  • Visit multiple facilities within a mile radius to treat approximately 20-30 patients per day

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the relevant state
  • Wound management expertise or willingness to learn
  • Experience in clinical training and patient care
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation processes
  • Emergency medicine experience is a plus
