Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Physician for a Hospitalist role in Hartsville, South Carolina, under a locum tenens arrangement. The position involves managing inpatient care for both adults and pediatric patients on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, providing critical medical services including emergency procedures and intensive care support.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide hospitalist coverage for a 7on/7off schedule managing an average of 10-12 patients per shift
  • Perform ICU duties including ventilation management, intubation, and central line placement
  • Provide inpatient care for pediatric patients, including nursery Level II and attendance at C-sections/high-risk deliveries
  • Conduct inpatient rounding and admissions, including newborn and pediatric assessments
  • Use MediTech EMR for documentation and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams

Required skills

  • Board Certified required
  • Licensed in South Carolina
  • BLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP certifications
  • Experience with ICU and pediatric inpatient care preferred
  • Proficiency in EMR, specifically MediTech
  • Skills in non-invasive ventilation management, intubation, and central line placement
