Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity in Eureka, California. This position requires coverage for specific dates with responsibilities including providing inpatient care and managing on-call duties.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide supplemental coverage for pediatric hospitalist services
  • Respond to call needs on a 24-hour schedule
  • Perform procedures such as intubation, UVC/UAC placement, and chest tube insertion
  • Interpret EKGs and manage ventilators
  • Ensure hospital privileges are maintained throughout the contract

Required skills

  • Pediatric Hospitalist experience
  • Active CA medical license
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
  • Active DEA registration
  • Familiarity with inpatient pediatric care procedures
