Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician for a position in Charlotte, North Carolina, focusing on wound care management. This role offers clinical autonomy, flexibility in scheduling with no nights, calls, or weekend shifts, and the opportunity to become an expert in wound management through comprehensive training and modern technologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation
  • Demonstrate modern wound management techniques during patient interactions
  • Participate in the paid training and completion of a six-month wound care fellowship

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in patient care and clinical documentation
  • Wound care management knowledge
  • Ability to work 3 to 5 days per week with flexible scheduling
