This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist near Fort Wayne, Indiana, in a 120-bed inpatient facility. The role emphasizes dedicated patient care with a focus on work-life balance and includes options for Medical Directorship with flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients
  • Manage a patient load of 12-16 patients per day
  • Offer telemedicine consults as needed
  • Participate in after-hours call coverage on a voluntary basis
  • Support and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners
  • Possibility of covering PHP/IOP services
