Overview

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven physician for a part-time opportunity in West Chester, Pennsylvania, focusing on post-acute care in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers excellent support, autonomy, and the potential for high earning through fee-for-service compensation, while being part of a dedicated team that values compassion and collaboration in patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
  • Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations

Required skills

  • Current physician license in Pennsylvania
  • DEA certification
  • Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome
  • Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach
