VISTA Staffing Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist physician for an opportunity in Eureka, California. The role involves providing inpatient pediatric care, including various procedures such as neonatal airway management and lumbar puncture, during designated 24-hour beeper call shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist care
  • Perform neonatal airway management
  • Manage neonatal air leak/pneumothorax
  • Conduct emergent UVC placement
  • Execute UVC/UAC placement
  • Carry out lumbar punctures
  • Interpret EKGs

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC or BE within 3-5 years of residency)
  • Active California medical license
  • DEA certification
  • Experience in pediatric care
  • Inpatient care expertise
  • Knowledge of neonatal care procedures
