Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BE/BC Geriatrician to join an established practice in Urbana, Illinois. The role involves working primarily in an ambulatory clinic alongside other Geriatricians and APPs, with responsibilities that include nursing home coverage and providing care in sub-acute settings. Opportunities for academic affiliation and medical directorship are available.

Key responsibilities

  • Join established practice with 5 Geriatricians and 9 APPs
  • Provide coverage in nursing homes and ambulatory clinic
  • Primary clinic schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Serve patients in sub-acute, rehabilitation, and short-stay environments
  • Provide geriatric service call for nursing home patients
  • Possibility of part-time positions
  • Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation
  • Medical Directorship opportunities available

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Geriatrics
  • Experience in nursing home care
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
  • Clinical management skills
  • Healthcare communication skills
