Britt Medical Search is seeking a BE/BC Geriatrician to join an established practice in Urbana, Illinois. The role involves working in an ambulatory clinic alongside other geriatricians and advanced practice providers, with responsibilities focused on nursing home coverage and outpatient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide care in nursing homes and an ambulatory clinic
  • Participate in inpatient responsibilities with assistance from hospitalists
  • Be on call for nursing home patients and geriatric service call
  • Opportunity for medical directorship and long-term care management
  • Engage in academic and/or clinical research affiliation

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine
  • Experience in nursing home care and patient management
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
  • Ability to cover sub-acute and rehabilitation environments
