Overview

Adelphi Staffing, LLC is seeking a locum tenens Physician specializing in Gastroenterology to provide outpatient clinical services in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role involves performing various diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures within a supportive healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient gastroenterology clinical services
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
  • Collaborate with support staff including RNs, MAs, and PA/NPs
  • Supervise advanced practice providers as needed
  • Provide resident and/or teaching supervision
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Epic EMR system
  • Ensure high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting

Required skills

  • Board Certified
  • Licensed in Virginia
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Fellowship in Gastroenterology required
  • Experience with upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, small bowel biopsy, and colonoscopy
  • Proficient in using the Epic EMR system
