Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a locum tenens Gastroenterologist to work in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The position involves covering clinical duties in an inpatient setting with a shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, for two weeks each month, starting September 28, 2026.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient clinical coverage
  • Conduct new consultations and follow-ups
  • Perform medical procedures
  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Manage patient admissions and rounding

Required skills

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Licensed to practice in Virginia
  • BLS certification
  • Fellowship in Gastroenterology
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic
