Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a full-time BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join an established, high-volume private practice in Hickory, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-supported environment with a team of 15 providers and perform a high volume of procedures, benefiting from a strong community connection and operational support.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform colonoscopies, EGDs, and sigmoidoscopies
  • Participate in a call rotation of 1:7 for hospital and ED call
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians and APPs to manage patient care
  • Utilize EClinicalWorks for clinic and Meditech for inpatient EMR
  • Manage outpatient clinic volume with dedicated medical assistant support
  • Participate in financial and productivity metrics
  • Ensure work-life balance with administrative time weekly

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Experience with colonoscopy and EGD procedures
  • Team collaboration and patient management skills
  • Knowledge of EClinicalWorks and Meditech systems
