Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a full-time BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, high-volume private practice located in Hickory, North Carolina, approximately 45 minutes northwest of Charlotte. The position offers a partnership track and includes a diverse patient population and a comprehensive benefits package within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform colonoscopies, EGDs, and sigmoidoscopies
  • Participate in a call rotation of 1:7 for hospital and ED
  • Manage clinic follow-ups and new patient appointments
  • Collaborate with a team of 15 providers, including 9 physicians and 6 APPs
  • Utilize EMR systems: EClinicalWorks (clinic) and Meditech (inpatient)
  • Engage in administrative tasks during designated weekly time for work-life balance
  • Provide comprehensive patient care for adults and geriatrics

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Experience with endoscopic procedures
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
