Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a full-time BE/BC Gastroenterologist for a well-established, high-volume private practice located in Hickory, North Carolina. This role involves a significant procedural workload and offers a partnership track within a physician-led team, providing care primarily to adult and geriatric patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform colonoscopies, EGDs, and sigmoidoscopies
  • Participate in a 1:7 call rotation for hospital and ED
  • Manage outpatient clinic with an average of 10 procedures per day
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of medical assistants and APPs
  • Utilize EMR systems EClinicalWorks and Meditech
  • Engage in block scheduling for procedures and clinic follow-ups
  • Contribute to the community through patient care and outreach

Required skills

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Experience with endoscopic procedures
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong patient care and procedural skills
  • Familiarity with medical documentation systems
