Overview

A Minnesota inpatient hospital is seeking a Gastroenterology locum tenens provider for an initial assignment from August 19 to September 31, 2026, with the potential for ongoing coverage. This role is designed for GI physicians who value pay transparency, flexible shift options, and a manageable schedule while practicing high-acuity medicine.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient gastroenterology services
  • Manage call coverage with a 20-minute response time
  • Perform required procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, sigmoidoscopy, liver biopsy, and PEG placement
  • Ensure high-quality patient care
