Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a locum tenens Gastroenterologist to provide inpatient clinical services in Duluth, Minnesota. The role requires 24-hour call coverage and involves performing advanced GI procedures as well as managing consultations for adult and geriatric patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for gastroenterology services
  • Perform advanced GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient GI consultations and procedures
  • Round on assigned patients
  • Respond to call within 20 minutes

Required skills

  • Board Eligible
  • ACLS certification required
  • Experience in advanced GI procedures including ERCP and EUS
  • Fellowship required
  • Familiarity with EMR System: Epic
