Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a full-time role in Charlotte, North Carolina, focusing on wound management in a mobile practice environment. The position offers the chance to deliver bedside wound care with flexibility and autonomy, while enjoying no night, weekend, or call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility visited
  • Complete clinical documentation in real-time during clinical rounds using a proprietary EMR
  • Participate in a wound fellowship and receive paid training during onboarding
  • Work a mobile practice, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in wound management and patient care
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and clinical documentation
  • Capacity to work part-time (minimum of 3 days per week) or full-time (4-5 days per week)
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage flexible scheduling
