Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Full-Time Family Medicine Physician for a position in Columbus, GA. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and a focus on wound management in a post-acute care setting, without night, weekend, or on-call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
  • Document clinically in real-time using a proprietary wound specific EMR.
  • Engage in a minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week, with positions available for part-time and full-time.
  • Participate in a paid training and a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in Georgia or the state of practice
  • Experience in family medicine and wound management
  • Ability to utilize clinical technologies and modern wound care modalities
