Overview

Cross Country Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join their clinical team in El Centro, California. This role entails delivering high-quality outpatient care, including comprehensive primary care services, chronic disease management, and patient education within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope outpatient family medicine care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Manage chronic and acute conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including histories, physicals, treatment plans, and patient records.
  • Coordinate care with specialists and support staff to ensure seamless patient services.
  • Participate in team huddles, quality improvement activities, and clinic initiatives.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Support patient education, preventive care, and health promotion.
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.

Required skills

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with completion of a Family Medicine residency program.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of California.
  • Current DEA certification and CPR/BLS.
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, community-focused clinical setting.
