Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Family Medicine Physician in Dothan, Alabama. This role offers the opportunity to practice wound management without the demands of nights, call, or weekend responsibilities. The practice focuses on providing innovative bedside wound care using advanced technologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Complete clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using proprietary EMR
  • Participate in wound management training and fellowship
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in patient care and clinical documentation
  • Knowledge of EMR systems
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Commitment to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week
