Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens opportunities in St. Johns, Michigan. The role involves providing emergency medical care in a community setting with responsibilities that include supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and responding to hospital codes.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Supervise one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) during overlapping hours
  • Interpret EKGs with cardiology providing final review
  • Respond to hospital codes as needed
  • Stabilize and transfer OB patients to Lansing L&D

Required skills

  • BC (ABEM or AOBEM) certification
  • Active full Michigan medical license
  • ACLS certification
  • ATLS certification
  • Experience in community emergency department setting
  • Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
