Overview

The Curare Group is seeking Locums Emergency Medicine physicians for immediate and ongoing coverage at a busy acute care hospital in Southeast Texas, located near Lake Charles, LA. The hospital is a Level III Trauma Center with excellent transfer capabilities and offers 12-hour shifts both day and night.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care in a busy hospital environment
  • Handle an average daily census of 45-50 patients
  • Work flexible shifts, including both day and night
  • Participate in ongoing locums needs

Required skills

  • Emergency Medicine experience
  • Texas medical license preferred
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to obtain emergency credentials quickly
