Overview

Adelphi Staffing, LLC is seeking a Board Certified Critical Care Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The role involves providing in-house coverage in the ICU and performing critical care procedures from August 6 to September 15, 2026.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 12-hour in-house day shift coverage in the ICU
  • Perform critical care procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, central line placement, and chest tube insertion
  • Manage ventilated patients and acute volume/BP issues
  • Round on assigned patients and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
  • Document encounters in Epic EMR and ensure timely hand-offs
