Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Physician specialized in Anesthesiology for a locum tenens assignment in Dubois, PA. The role involves providing general anesthesia for various surgical cases in a hospital setting, operating primarily Monday through Friday during standard clinical hours.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide general anesthesia for surgical cases including urology, GYN, GI endoscopy, plastics, ortho, and occasional dental procedures
  • Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care
  • Supervise and collaborate with CRNA at each location
  • Ensure patient safety and monitor vitals throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR

Required skills

  • Active PA license
  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • DEA certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience
  • Experience with general anesthesia, urology, GYN, GI endoscopy, plastics, and ortho
