Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking Anesthesiology locum coverage in Waterloo, Iowa. This role requires the physician to evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgical procedures, with a focus on General Anesthesia, Obstetrics, and Pediatrics.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgical procedures
  • Provide anesthesia for General Anesthesia, Obstetrics, and Pediatric cases
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled
  • Handle a daily volume of 30-50 cases across 13 OR rooms

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Active Iowa License or Active IMLC LOQ
  • Proficiency in Conscious Sedation
  • Background of 100% Clean Malpractice
  • Self-Query NPDB Report pulled within the last 30 days
  • Experience with EMR EPIC
