Overview

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking passionate, licensed Physical Therapists in Sterling, VA, to provide one-on-one care to older adults through the Geriatric House Calls model. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly in both private residences and senior living communities, focusing on improving patients' mobility and quality of life while enjoying autonomy in treatment scheduling.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one physical therapy to older adults at home and in senior living communities
  • Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment supporting patient wellness and independence
  • Document care within FOX's EMR system according to regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and senior staff on safety and aging in place
  • Incorporate telehealth and virtual care when appropriate

Required skills

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the relevant state
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Basic computer and EMR proficiency
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience with geriatric care and patient education
