Nava Healthcare Recruiting is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) in Phenix City, AL, to provide high-quality, compassionate care and enhance the quality of life for residents through personalized rehabilitation and patient-centered treatment. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy programs aimed at improving mobility and overall functional ability.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team for holistic care.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and continued care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Alabama state license as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility or inpatient rehabilitation preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
