Overview

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to enhance the health and well-being of patients in Griffin, Georgia. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs aimed at improving mobility and relieving pain for patients recovering from injury or disease.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and establish treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans and revise goals based on patient and family input.
  • Provide ongoing patient and family education, including discharge instructions and referrals to community resources.
  • Document evaluations and treatment sessions according to departmental guidelines.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality, adhering to ethical business practices.

Required skills

  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program, Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapist license in the state of Georgia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Effective communication skills

  • Team-oriented with basic computer skills
