Overview

The Physical Therapist at Holy Cross Hospital will focus on creating an exceptional therapeutic environment for infants and children to enhance their health and quality of life. This role involves individualized assessments and treatment plans tailored to each child's needs, emphasizing health equity and support for underserved communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and efficient evaluations, including appropriate tests and measurements.
  • Set functional, realistic, and measurable goals for patients.
  • Design functional treatment plans that reflect prescribed therapy.
  • Re-evaluate and discharge patients within appropriate time frames.
  • Monitor progress toward goals with family input.

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida
  • Pediatric experience (preferred)
  • Patient assessment and therapeutic planning skills
  • Family communication skills
  • Injury prevention knowledge
  • Goal setting abilities
