Overview

MOTION Physical Therapy Group is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their outpatient team in Nanuet, New York. The role offers an opportunity to develop advanced orthopedic and sports therapy skills in a supportive and collaborative environment, backed by Confluent Health's resources and professional development programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
  • Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient's goals and needs.
  • Deliver skilled interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
  • Track patient outcomes and adjust treatment approaches based on progress.
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for patients throughout their recovery.

Required skills

  • Licensed Physical Therapist or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice.
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care.
  • CPR and first aid certification.
  • 1 year of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with evaluating and treating orthopedic, pediatric, and sports medicine conditions.
