Overview

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a Physical Therapist to enhance the health and well-being of patients in Warm Springs, Georgia. The role involves evaluating and treating patients in rehabilitation settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and contributing to patient education and documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial and discharge evaluations, set goals and treatment plans, and document appropriately
  • Develop treatment plans and administer optimal therapy to meet functional goals
  • Determine therapy educational needs and provide as needed
  • Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team
  • Serve as a clinical instructor/mentor for interns as needed
  • Participate in hospital and discipline-specific skills check

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy preferred
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Georgia Physical Therapy license or eligibility
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Rehab, SNF, LTACH, Acute preferred
  • Basic computer literacy
